The photographer is not responsible for any onsite staging, decluttering, cleaning, or landscaping. The house/property must be ready to be photographed when we arrives on site. To ensure the best twilight photographs, please follow this checklist as closely as possible.
One day before the twilight shoot:
Check that ALL lights (interior and exterior) are functioning and that all light bulbs are of matching tone in each fixture.
On the evening of your twilight photography shoot:
Turn on everything that has a lightbulb 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the twilight photo shoot.
- TURN-ON ALL Interior overhead lights, ceiling fan lights, under cabinet lighting, and lamps visible from windows, etc.
- • TURN-ON ALL Exterior Lights at the front and rear of the house, landscape lighting, garage lights, porch and patio lighting, water feature lights, warn tone patio string lights, etc.
- • DO NOT TURN-ON colored and/or X-mas lighting.
- • ALL CEILING FANS MUST BE OFF.
- • Make sure all window blinds are up and even with adjacent windows.
- • Turn on all water features and lighting.
PREPARING YOUR PROPERTY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
This is an exterior specific photography shoot. No outdoor clutter should be present.
- Remove all vehicles in the driveway and in the front of the house. There should be no cars on the sidewalk in front of the house.
- Remove excess patio furniture, water hoses, garbage cans, etc.
- Sweep the walkways, patios, decks, etc.
- Clean all window glass inside and out. Pay special attention. Smudges will show in the pictures.
During the photo shoot:
- Please ensure that no person or pet is visible (from the house windows) and/or walking around on the inside/outside of the house at any time. This is very important.
- Please ensure that any television that is in a room with windows is turned off.
Please refer to the main Site Preparation Checklist to ensure everything is ready, and nothing is overlooked.
